Do I need a Upper Cervical Adjustment?

Let's start at the top!

A simple set of X-rays will tell you!

Our procedure as Upper Cervical Chiropractors* focuses on correcting the misalignment of the Atlas and Axis. The first two vertebrae in your neck.

The technique is gentle and specific, there is no twisting or forceful pulling of the neck.

When there is a misalignment in the upper cervical region of the neck (atlas and axis) the head shifts off center possibly causing postural changes such as one shoulder being lower than the other or the pelvis rotates causing one leg to be shorter than the other.  Because of these compensatory adaptations pain can be experienced in joints, muscles and tendons anywhere from your head to the bottom of your feet.

Misalignment can create a neurologic interference from the brain to the body or body to brain.  This is of major significance because the information in the brainstem goes not only through the entire body but to all our organs as well.

This is why so many chronic and acute conditions respond well to correction of the upper cervical misalignment.

*Upper Cervical Chiropractors receive post graduate training in the fields of Thermographic Instrumentation, Neurology, Radiology & Specific AdjustingTechniques.
